In Progress

Suburban Chicago, December 1972. Dad captures me working on the Mount-Olympus-crossword-puzzle project.

Very intense, very bright, and very pretty.

Dad must have been very proud, but, having seen the tenuousness of life during the War, I don't doubt he wanted to seize every moment.

Dad took a lot of pictures. He captured many common moments. There's even a photo of me as I brush my teeth.

Put them all together and you have a life.

I think that's what he wanted - a chronicle of what you all had here. It's too bad he died young, I get the impression his intent was to be able to flip through all the pictures in his old age and remember all the good times - common and special - the four of you had together.
