When do we put up the tree? When it's Christmas. The advent of Advent is still a few days away. Speaking of preparing for Christmas, I was wondering if you have any opinion about David Abulafia's The Great Sea.
We usually put a few decorations out on Christmas Eve.I would endorse anything by David Abulafia. He was a "must read" when I was in grad school thirty years ago, and his scholarship is unparalleled.
