Relaxing after Work
Suburban Chicago, about 1969. I am uncertain about this photo's date. Gigi's in the picture, so it's in 1969 or after. It's not much later than that, however, because it's before Mom starting wearing trousers. She used to return from work and change into a sensible skirt, blouse, and sweater.
It's likely before 1971 because I didn't keep goldfish once I reached the seventh grade.
Mom's fancy knitting bag rests on the floor.

Don't lose count.
Suburban Chicago, June 1963. It's easy to lose count if you work on a two-color project while you watch television.

The project continues.
Suburban Chicago, January 1962. Mom keeps working on the straight-needle project. She's in the Master Bedroom.

Grab a Book: Serious-Tweed Edition
Suburban Chicago, December 1973. Sometimes Dad smiled for the selfie, and sometimes he struck a serious expression.

A Closer Look (Part 19)
Suburban Chicago, February 1962. This "Closer Look" is not an image I cropped; instead, it's one Dad enlarged and printed. Here's the original post.

Rec-Room Relaxation
Suburban Chicago, January 1979. Dad sets up the self-timer for another photo. He's wearing one of the zippered cardigans Mom knitted. Mom's "stay-at-home clothes" now include trousers. Mom is on call because the phone is at her feet. Gigi has brought her favorite toys onto the ottoman.

We clear the walkways.
Suburban Chicago, December 1961. Mom and Dad take turns shoveling the walkways while my Toronto Cousin pulls my sled.
I earlier posted some still photos from that day here.
