Vintage Photo Collection ...
... from my Parents' home town, Kaunas, Lithuania:
The scenes in these images are familiar to my Mom. She remembers when the streets still were unpaved, and she recalls how thrilled residents were when the city purchased a fleet of "Volvo" public buses.
The vocalist here is Antanas Šabaniauskas. Šabaniauskas was a popular crooner during the years of Lithuanian independence.

... howling in our backyard, tonight. (Turn up the volume.)
Verona, Wisconsin, February 2, 2012. The "sneezing" sound you hear in the background is one of our dogs, Rex, "pfftting" with excitement. We are happy that he's in the house.
