Yarnbombing started as "guerilla knitting," a trend that later dovetailed with the Occupy movement.

Now:

YarnbombWI seeks to create spontaneous yarnbombings around Madison that will enrich the urban environment through creative installations that encourage the traditions of knitting and crocheting! Working closely with the Madison Public Library staff, our group will be yarnbombing books, bookshelves, book carts, and other elements within the libraries.

Move over, yarnbombing ...
