Picnic Culture: Keep an eye on the kids.

Love the old lawn chairs. Surprised all 4 aren't that kind.

Also, it's intriguing that your mom has the pose that would allow conspiracy theorists to say that in the past, there were cell phones, but they've been airbrushed out of the photographs.

I don't know about the chairs; this was not a picnic in our yard.

Cell phones! Mom is glad that she didn't have to deal with those when she worked. (Mom's hand is held up because she's holding a cigarette.)
