Sweater Scape
Suburban Chicago, 1971. I photograph my "finished objects." The arrangement does not feature the first sweater I knitted; I must have given it away by the time I took this photo. The second sweater does appear here: it's the one with the hanger.
Gigi rests on a shawl I crocheted. I'll write more about that later.

"[I]t's got knitting and crochet patterns so you can re-create the look yourself."
It = the book, Cats in Hats.

Sometimes, I crocheted.
Suburban Chicago, Spring 1970. I crocheted a stylish vest for my beloved Godmother, and she wore it!

Gigi was a good hostess.
Door County, Wisconsin, June 1981. My Mom's best friend, Donna, joined my Parents for the weekend. Donna brought Heidi, one of the Dachshunds. A patient crocheted the ivory, gold, and brown afghan for my Mom. We still use the afghan; Rex sleeps on it every night in his chair.

"Buttmunchies Yarnbomb"
I don't think much of "yarnbombing," but I liked this incident.

A Familiar Space: The Rec Room
Suburban Chicago, Winter 1984. In the 1980s, my Dad photographed every room of our home. Although I remember the rooms clearly, it's nice to see the details preserved in some of the images.
