Oh, yeah, the bottle was ubiquitous in the 50s (any time I had a sore throat, which seemed to be every winter, I lived on it (remember the girl in the bathing suit tossing the ball?)).
And hair nets were far more acceptable then; hair spray seemed to make them obsolete.
