On the back of this photo, Anthony wrote, "[Mr. Irene's Dad]! Remember our difficult and good times, as Displaced wanderers, when we either tried to make the best of things or save our homeland; but it now looks like destiny will toss us abroad among different countries. So, [Mr. Irene's Dad], remember me always. Your neighbor, Anthony."
