It's nice to sew when you're in the Rec Room.


Suburban Chicago, January 1964. My paternal Grandmother, Tatjana, works at her White sewing machine. She liked to sew, and she was good at mending store-bought clothing.

And she had to do it by hand in the old country.

But that was fun as well as something useful for her.
