Cultural Programming


Chicago, Illinois, August 1966. My Dad attended a taping of "Lithuanian TV," and he snapped a photo of this ensemble as it performed. "Lithuanian TV" was a program produced by a local, Chicago station. The show aired weekly (Fridays?) on Channel 26.

The folk music thing was just starting to fade then, so these girls could have had a regular gig doing that.
