The Study


Suburban Chicago, November 1978. Dad converses with Gigi in the room that later served as his study. Dad decorated the room with enlargements of his scouting photos. Two of the images visible in this snapshot appeared here and here. The third photo, on the top left, is of the Lithuanian landmark, Kryžių Kalnas, in the early years of the Soviet occupation—when a small number of defiant crosses appeared on the hillside.

She did! I introduced that pillow here.

We still have it, along with another pillow she did. Both pillows grace our library sofa.
