Back to the Doorways
Early in the life of this blog I noticed that old photos often feature people standing on steps or in doorways. Perhaps an image of subjects sitting on steps or standing in a doorway creates an interesting perspective or visual variation. Sometimes, steps can make a man seem taller than he is. A doorway also can symbolize a departure or an anticipated journey.
