It's fun to go shopping at new places.

North Bay, Ontario, Canada, July 1965. Mom and I stand in front of the pillar on the left. We are about to explore Hudson's Bay Company store during our vacation on Lake Nipissing. Mom has set down one of her early knitting bags: a gray satchel with a red, patent-leather stripe.

Check out my mustard-colored pedal pushers.

That isn't from north bay ontario . Where was this in north bay? I lived in north bay since 1958 and never saw this store

My Dad's notes say "North Bay" for this photo, but he may have been mistaken. It would have been a Hudson's Bay store somewhere in the Lake Nipissing vicinity.

I am happy to make a correction if you can find the location.

Thanks!
