Grab your pocketbook, put on your shades, and go.
Toronto, Canada, July 1964. My Dad's twin sister, my Aunt Jonė, and my Mom head out for some shopping. The ladies walk away from my Aunt's house in the city, headed to a streetcar that will take them downtown. Their likely destination was the wonderful Canadian department store, Eaton's. My Mom used to love going to that store when we visited Toronto. Back then, the selection of knitting yarn at Eaton's surpassed what one could find in the States.
Mom carries the pocketbook that Dad's friend Casey brought as a gift from Colombia.
