Officer's Wedding
This is a snapshot taken at the wedding reception of my Godfather. He's the handsome guy in the center, with the two young, single girls laughing on either side of him.
Every officer in this photo is wearing the uniform of the independent Lithuanian Army. This confirms that the wedding took place before the Soviet Occupation.
Kaunas, Lithuania, 1939. The bride stands behind my Godfather's right shoulder, and she looks down at him admiringly. The couple's lifelong friend, Mr. John, whom you've met here and here, stands behind her.
