Is that normal behavior once the chicks (colts) are ambulatory?
I think it might be based on what I read.

I hope so too, Daniel. In the last few weeks I've been studying up on cranes. I read yesterday that the chicks can follow their parents in a territory up to 200 acres wide. The chicks can walk really quickly.
