Mr. Irene was an accordion student of The Music Center from the time he started kindergarten until he finished the eighth grade. The lessons took place weekly at Mr. Irene’s home.

Suburban Chicago, 1965 through 1966. The gold stars collected on this card show Mr. Irene did not miss a single lesson in his first year of instruction. The extra stars recognized good preparation or completion of an especially difficult piece.
