Christopher Walken looks like he's knitting. The position of the needles is not incorrect, and he holds the yarn the way I do—"Continental" style. Like an accomplished knitter, Walken stitches without looking at his work. He naturally moves the piece down the needle as the row progresses. His speed is fast, but not impossible.
But the knitter's hands appear younger than Walken's face. I think someone else is stitching here.
