One, Last Ride

Ontario, Canada, Summer 1959. My Dad's twin sister, Jonė, her daughter (my Toronto Cousin), and Jonė's Mother (my paternal Grandmother, Tatjana) are on the boat. My Toronto Cousin remembers being jealous because Jonė spent part of that day teaching other children to swim.  Tatjana sometimes wore a jaunty turban—tied with a front bow—in the summer.
