Maid of Honor
Toronto,
Ontario, about 1950. Women standing up in the bridal parties of
newly-arrived Displaced Persons frequently work traditional
folk dress. Here, my Dad's twin, Jonė, is the maid of honor. Jonė
wears the folkdress her mother—my paternal Grandmother, Tatjana—sewed
in 1939.
Thanks to my Toronto Cousin for making this photo available to us.
