Dad's Favorite Subject
My
Dad like to process
his own photographs. He also enjoyed zooming in on a
subject once he'd printed the original photo. When I saw this photo of Mom, I
recalled that I'd seen a similar one earlier in a photo album:
* * * * *
Suburban Chicago, Summer 1960. Today, it's a jiffy to crop and zoom a photo. Fifty years ago, the tasks required patience and a steady hand.

Quite clearly, Dad's favorite subject in more ways than one.
Even in black and white, you can see the bloom on her cheek.
