I thought it was "Man-eh-TOE-wok" with the "eh" sounding more like "ih," if that makes any sense. Hardest Minnesota city to pronounce, in my opinion, is Mahtomedi.
I am still not sure, and I've been riding or driving through the city since 1968!I would have great trouble with Mahtomedi.
