Christmas Manners: Be patient.
Suburban Chicago, December 24, 1961. My Toronto Cousin and her Parents—my Dad's twin Sister, Jonė, and her husband, Kadis—have arrived for Christmas, and they've joined my Mom, me, and my paternal Grandmother, Tatjana, at the table for Kūčios. I am not interested in the traditional meal: my eyes are on the living room, where gifts rest under the tree.
Why didn't Dad use the self-timer for this shot?
