Suburban Chicago, Winter 1967. We're hosting the families of my Godfather (standing) and Godmother (seated on the couch, on the far left), and Mom has persuaded me to perform. I'm sure the guests don't care to hear my piano playing. Even my paternal Grandmother, Tatjana, seems disinterested.
