I never understood how people can look at a baby's face and confidently announce that the baby resembles either his Mom or Dad. I don't think I looked like either Parent when I was a baby.
As a baby I did make a facial expression that has stuck with me for life. My Mom says that I used to accompany the expression with a snorting sound:
Suburban Chicago, April 1959. My paternal Grandmother, Tatjana, takes me out for a stroll. The stroller was navy blue. It must have been a warm day because Tatjana has not wrapped me in the scratchy wool blanket that usually served as a stroller coverlet.
