Schoolyard

Kaunas, Lithuania, about 1939. My Dad and his high-school classmates gather in the schoolyard. Bunny ears are in play again. Dad is the fellow with the eye glasses, crouched in the front.

Hi,

I have a blog called Bunny Ears Over The Years that contains a collection of photographs of people giving each other bunny ears. A few days ago a literary agent got in touch with me and thinks this idea could make for a book and asked me to find out if the people whose photographs I come across would be willing to give permission for their photographs to be used in this potential book. The photographer/owner of the photo, will, of course be credited in the index for their photo.

I think it would be really fun to compile a book of photographs dedicated to "Bunny Ears", but in order for me to even start pitching this book idea to publishing houses, I need to be able to know that I'll be able to get permission from the photographers for use of their photos.

I came across your photo here + this one - http://amberreunion.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html and wanted to ask if you are the photographer/or the owner of the photo? And if not, if you know who took the photo and if you'd be able to connect us?

Thanks! I'm really looking forward to possibly turning this project into a book -
Please email me here - bunnyearsovertheyears@gmail.com

Thanks for your interest, Michael. The photo here is one from my Dad's childhood collection; I do not know who took the photograph.

At this time, I am not interested in including the photos in a published book.
