When Mr. Irene was a little boy, his favorite game was "spy." Mr. Irene's most memorable childhood toy was a James Bond 007 Briefcase. The briefcase had a built-in dart shooter. He also had a spy radio that doubled as a rifle.

This was the era of the Cold War, the Man from U.N.C.L.E., a memorable show called The Saint, and our beloved comedy, I Spy.

Every good spy needs an ID card. Here's Mr. Irene's, from about 1966 or 1967.
