Mom and I shared a plate of pot stickers at the mall today, and now we've lost our appetites for dinner. On the way home, we stopped at an apple orchard and bought Apple Cider Donuts. I am sure that we'll have dessert.

Suburban Chicago, 1959. My paternal Grandmother, Tatjana, feeds me. I don't seem to mind, and Tatjana appears satisfied with my progress. She has me propped up on a pillow!
