I really wanted to learn to knit when I was a little girl. I'll post a series of "When will you teach me to knit?" photos that document my longing to imitate my Mom's artistry. (It's not a "craft.")
Suburban Chicago, 1966. Here we are, again in the Rec Room. Mom and I share a seat in one of those Danish modern chairs. Mom always liked to wear moccasins as slippers. My tights are mended at the knee because I was clumsy on the playground, and my Parents were frugal. There's a goldfish in the bowl on the bookshelf behind me.
